Just wondering roughly how long before the HIDs will go out and how much would it cost to replace BOTH bulbs?

It should probably last for a good 10 years? I don't know how much it will cost to get replacements but by that time ... It will probably be a very cheap thing to speak of.

 

About 2 years ago I was a buyer for a auto retail chain (when HID replacements were 1st being thought about. Our cost from the manufacturer (Wagner) was going to be about $80. They were not expecting any demand from burning out, only from accidents and other physical damage. There is no filament like an incandescent bulb. You could probably expect more issues from the transformer than the bulb.
