Help! My taillights / idash (night) lights are not working after stereo install
I just installed a Sony headunit with Lucid dash control adapter. Currently, the orange 'illumination' and 'dimmer' wires have nowhere to go into the Sony. I can only guess that is part of the problem. Everthing else works.

I found a burnt fuse under dash 'small light'. When I took the radio out, I noticed an orange wire was bare I could have contacted metal. Lucid's directions on '02 and '03 are to connect the orange and orange/white stripe, but to what? Each other?
I had the steal the new 10A fuse from the hazard lights, are there any spare fuses on board?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

NEVER leave bare wires just hanging there...ALWAYS cover them with electrical tape and tie them up. The illumination signal wire is red/black, but it does not absolutely NEED to connect to anything on the radio.
Don't steal fuses from one place to put them in another...you never know what connects to those fuses. For example, when installing upgraded horns, several blew the fuse for the horn, but guess what...it also controlled the brakelights
