i thought our cars didnt have black boxes....?,
The dealer is telling you that you over reved. Did you?, when the car stopped running, were your RPMS really high? Were you driving the car normaly or pushing it? If it was a new clutch you should break it in anyways, at least 500 miles. But I doubt that was the cause. It could be the poor installation of the tranny work. But thats up in the air.

Let's get this straight, what were you doing when the car just stopped running? If you were racing or pushing the car which it seems thats what you were doing since they got it from the black box, I dont think there is much you can do.

i'm no expert.... but 15K revs might be a good reason to deny coverage.

not wanting to be off topic tho, but the black boxes are more for insurance reasons. and being that we own the cars, and not the insurances, then shouldn't be our choice to have them or not? Just a thought....

I understand your point but it shouldn't be that way. In planes I understand but in cars not such a good idea. I dont wan't people to know what the hell I do in my car. Next thing I'll have a black box in my toilet. not a good idea.
Soon GPS will be incorporated to the black boxes, some people may find it helpful cuz it is at some point but its a draw back to me than anything else. In the near future you won't be able to go do anything without having big brother looking over your shoulders. Not cool!

Back to topic, GOOD LUCK!
