Based simply on price and best bang for the buck I would go with Spugen V2 (what i currently have).

However, I would go with Comptech now if I had the money simply due to the look and sounds (not too loud)!

I agree with the above...I've heard nothing but praise for the Fujitsubo Legalis R. Fits everything you want as well...I'd look into that one. If not the Fuji, go Comptech or Spugen

Mugen if you want a civilized upgrade to stock. Much lighter than stock...sound is a bit more agressive than stock.

Based on what you have said you like in an exhaust I would recommend that you take a closer look at the Fujitsubo exhaust. It looks like a stainless stock exhaust, it doesn't drone, and it sounds more aggressive then stock. This is not my own personal favorite, but I have heard it in person and I think it will fit the bill for you.

Go with the stock exhaust.

I love Comptech stuff, but can't afford their exhaust.

Spugen makes quality stuff and are good guys.

Can't speak about the rest.

Borla - It is very heavy, Sound unknown. I have only heard on a couple of owners with this exhaust over the years on s2ki.com
Magnaflow - My personal fav. I have it on my car. No drone
Team Spugen (dual oval mufflers) - Magnaflow manufatured mufflers (on some systems), great prices, great service
Neuspeed - HP loss
Comptech - Designed by CT, Magnaflow manufatured mufflers (To CT specs)
Who sells the Magnaflow? Thanks.

S2000 exhausts are STRICTLY for sound. Thinking anything else is pure ricer talk...

"Oooo I gain 4.6HP at 8800 RPM!" Its just retarted....get an exhast strictly based on how it sounds.

With that in mind, IMHO, the HKS is the best sounding exhaust you can get for an s2k (as well as cleanest) with the Fuji being a VERY close second.
