brandonb,

The silver matches the Silverstone paint color on the car, which was done on purpose to have a bit of a set off from the wheels. I also think you're right about the brake calipers - the front calipers do stand out more.

stbrnd,

You're right. The photos don't do either badge justice, but are especially unkind to the red on silver. They both look ten times better in the flesh.

Should I flip a coin?

I personally would go with the Red on Silver, its not as flashy, but what it lacks in flash the car makes up. Gives a cleaner look. Just my opinion.

Red on Silver. Looks classy. Not overboard.

Red on silver. The silver on red looks too "add-on". If it were mine black on silver...

Red on Silver. Very tasteful, understated and works well with the wheels & car color.

Rick,
I know this is of no help to you....they both look great to me!
I think it all depends on your personality.....silver on red for a more gregarious look, red on silver for a more conservative look.

my preference is the red s on silver. i think that they are both great looking, but the silver on red calls too much attention to the badge. the subtle one (silver with red s) blends more into the wheel and does not detract from the beauty of the wheel which also blends nicely with the whole car.
wanabe's holistic approach!
