i got scammed out of almost $900 on an ebay purchase, but because I paid with my credit card, that saved me.

If you don't give us info, we can't help you. Where does the guy live? Should we just go door to door in FL asking if they are the guy that stole your money?

I dont have an address yet. On the bright side he did see the thread and we are working out a deal at the moment. I will update as time goes by.

I don't understand. Either he's a criminal, and you would have to be a complete moron to enter into negotiations with him again, or he's not a criminal, and is willing to work it out, in which case, this thread is full of slander/libel (I forget which relates to the written word/spoken word).

I'm not having a go, I'm just trying to work out what's actually happening here?

 

Check on Craiglist or Kijiji, contact people from there and see who returns back the email and what email they use

 

i dont know exactly what he is now. He keeps saying that he sent the items to me but cannot prove any shipment info nor did he get anything back. He said he is going to send me out another set, but I will believe it when I see it...

 

So the goods are stolen or no?
