Default HELP!!! I need help removing stock exhaust!

We finally got our J's exhaust, now we are in the middle of trying to take off the stock exhaust. We got the hangers off, but we are having trouble with taking it off from the Cat. Can any help with this? I really want want to hear my exhaust tonight. Thanks guys!

There are 3 bolts that hold the exhaust to the cat. These bolts are usually corroded to some degree. You should "liquid wrench" the crap out of them a few hours before you try to turn them. Otherwise, they will break and you'll need to go get new one(s) from Honda. I sprayed them for 3 days in a row prior to turning them and they came "squeaking" off. I hope this is what you are referring to. Of course, you know that the cross brass by the diff. must be removed to get the exhaust off, right?

Thanks for the help guys We ended up using alot of WD-40 ! We started taking off the exhaust at 5:30 we finished around 7:00. Then it took about 5 min to put on the J's I love my new exhaust It's loud as hell, but it sounds sooo cool!!!
I have a feeling I'm going to using hearing aids later on in life!! Good thing I own a hearing aid center I'll give a discount to the owners of S 2000 with loud exhausts! Thanks again guys

That's the way it should be ... If it's too loud, you're too old.

Congrats on the new exhaust! I love mine. Now get a CAI to go with it for the total package in sound!
