LOL ^

I agree, the S2k is kind of a chick car, but it's all good. Still want one.

Rio is awesome in person, even better than Spa. Not a girly color at all.

Girly-ish colors are Suzuka & GPW. But any S can be made to look macho enough.

What is the deal with yellow and bugs? I haven't heard of bugs being attracted to cars before. How does it happen/what do they do? Is it only when parked that they all decide to land on and crawl all over the yellow cars? Maybe I should et the Laguna Blue?

Stop being so insecure about your sexuality!

For decisions, its usually best to go with your first instinctive choice. You are more likely to regret if you pick something else. Though kind of unrelated, I think there was a study that showed that the first choice was more often the right choice on tests. Anyways yellows are the best color for the S hands down! Sure it attracts the bugs... but it attracts a lot of other things too. Sometimes its hard to be so good looking.

I have a rio yellow. I love it. Gets lots of head turns if you're into that. Also the girls love it too.

Yellow is the new red, if you can handle the LOUD color, go for it.

exactly.

If you like it, go for it. I have never heard of anyone thinking yellow was a girls color. It is very loud and in your face which kinda makes me think it is more "manly" but I wouldn't care one way or the other. Having a yellow car is a commitment though. You do have to like it and people will always stare at it. It is a BIG attention getter. Some people like this aspect of it, I did not but I have learn to deal with people always looking at the car. Now the favorite part of yellow and the reason I have one is I think the car looks amazing in that color. I think it is the best color at bringing out the lines of the car which are so very sexy. Spa is especially good at this because it almost changes color in the light so the shadows on it are very pronounced. That my friends is why I own a Spa Yellow Pearl S2000 and wouldn't have it any other way...

Rio or Spa are not girl colors IMO. I think the "girl" yellow colors are those light, pastel type yellows you see on VW Beetles and Minis for example.

"Girl" color.

Rio is an awesome color.

And yes, bugs will swarm the car.

Asking for an opinion is fine, but don't let that hinder your own judgment. It's choosing a color man..it's not that difficult. Go with your favorite, go look at the different colors and decide which will make you most satisfied.

I always loved how the GPW looked on the S2000, but unfortunately I ended up with a Sebring (my second fav).
