help with center console
i was droped something in there ....anyone know how to take it off....cus i don't want to break anything there....

Get your fingers under the arm rest section of the console and pull up. I was afraid of ruining mine as well, but it requires force (and lots of it).
You will hear a distinct POP as the arm rest clips are the easiest to remove. Work your way towards the radio door with the same process....

Do a search for head unit removal in the Electronics section. I just replaced my radio last week and it was pretty easy to remove. You shoudn't need to pull very hard. The top portion where the vents are can be removed by using a screwdriver to gently pry it out.

Seems like the two replies are talking about two completely different parts of the car that loosely could both be called the "center console". Rane was talking about the console between the two seats where the shifter and cup holder is located. Cayenne_S2000 is talking about the console where the radio cover is located. So bibidog, you decide which set of instructions to follow.
