I'd like to go to 17's or 18's after my first set of tires. You guys know of a manufacturer that makes a wheel that looks very close to the stock 16? (Without a ton of visible bolts)

red rocket,

Hmmm...nothing comes to mind that has the correct offsets. I'll be sure to post if something comes to mind.

Red
Fikse FM5 looks similar, and can be any offset you want.
I had a set of 18x8, and 18x 10, but bent them (CO roads not the wheels fault) so I took them off, and am going to 17s as well (TE 37 now, to match my S4)

The Work Meisters fit and look stunning...

BUT, if you are going to lower your car for cosmetic reasons, you will rub (tire + plastic wheel well) on hard cornering which is extremely annoying...

I have 225/40 18 front and 265/35 18 rear (just like Comptech) phenomenal dry tires: BF Goodrich G-force T/A KD

I will be selling my Comptech adjustable coilovers when I get my Mugen coilovers so I can stiffen the suspension (to maybe allow > 1.0g skidpad handling and keep the tires from rubbing). I will update after the suspension change...

Do keep the rubbing in mind! (when lowering). Best bet? Change wheels but keep the stock suspension EXACTLY as it came <-- cheaper, safer, and less trouble... PLUS Bieg will love ya for it!

mdigrappa, Did you get any pics of your car with the FM5s on it? They look as close to what I am looking for as I have seen so far. One of my driving buds, warpspeed just put the Works and comptech adjustable coilovers on his Silver....looks awesome (much like Shaner's ride).
Ive got 3700 miles on this set of 02s, so perhaps there will be even more wheel choices by the time for new skins.
Thanks to the rest of you cool folks for keeping your eyes peeled.

All:

I don't have any plans to lower my S2K.

All I want is a good set of 18" wheels that I don't have to worry about offset/rubbing/etc...

TFota - I like the integral but I'm lookin for 18"s

If you plan on going with 18's and don't lower your ride, read this thread.

I like the Workmeisters too, but don't you guys think that they're going to get a little too played out? I mean, how many people on this site have them on their S2K? Plus every magazine has that BF Goodrich ad with the comptech S2K in it.

I think the rims look hot, but I guess I wanna try to have a unique look. Not a lot of choices for rims to fit the S2000 though, esp as wide as 9" w/ the right offset. I guess if you want to have a nice set of rims, somebody else is bound to have done the same thing. I'll probably just end up getting them, what can you do?
