Default HELP! 04' S2K! i need to find the gas tank drain!

HELP! i picked up a 2004 s2000 today and i am shipping it to japan monday. it has 3/4 of a tank of fuel, and i need to remove it asap. driving it is not an option.... where is the fuel tank drain, if there is one?? currently the car is running as i am typing this. please help!

Have you tried calling the dealership?

just picked it up one hour ago from the dealer.... they were not helpful at all. i figured i could siphon it, but i cannot get the hose into the tank.

You can't really siphon it, the way the neck of the tank goes you won't be able to get to the bottom. One of our local members tried it before. There is no drain as far as I am aware of. I believe you need to remove the entire tank in order to get the gas out.

hmmmm might be interesting to know this. I didn't think we had a "drain" on the tank.

The tech I spoke with says there is not a drain for our gas tanks. You'll have to get a hand pump and pump it out (per the manual).

i can't drive it... no plates, and the car is to be delivered as new to J's racing... so, putting 300 miles on it to kill the tank is not an option. i was thinking pulling the fuel line and putting fuel into a bottle using the cars fuel pump, but that is dangerous and would take forever. thanks to those that replied!
