Default help 04 markups

i live in the bay area and almost every dealer has a 4-6k markup on the 04's...... i heard of people getting the 04's for 31,000.... im looking for a berlina in that price range with only low miles of course... does anyone know a dealer ?????

Well, you should check out Elk Grove Honda. Talk to Blair Morrow (he is a member on this board also). It may be a bit south, but worth the drive IMO. That or put a bid in on the internet.

Side note, you would get better $$ on selling your lude on the street. Dealerships tend to give you a way lower markdown on them.

Have you talked to the dealers with the markup and said, "I'll buy it, but get rid of the markup."?

Just tell them you'll pay the MSRP
or tell them you're going elsewhere to buy one

i want less than markup, cause i know i can get it for msrp. i am not going to pay msrp

Because S2Ks are limited production cars, dealers most likely won't sell away for less than MSRP.
These cars aren't mass produced like civics or accord
that's my opinion

Ok, so back to my original question. Did you even try to negotitate the price or did you look at the sticker and walk away?

Tell that to the thousands and thousands of people who have bought their S2000's for thousands less than MSRP. People who wanted to put a little time into their search haven't had to pay MSRP for at least two years.

I think what he was saying that is how the dealers try and justify their markups to a potential buyer.
