Hey everyone, sorry if this is the wrong forum, but Just wanted to give the heads up to anyone that is considering using autotrader.com to sell a vehicle. An unknown number keeps calling my cell phone and leaving automated messages about using there company "longwood industries" to gaurentee the sell of my car in 90 days for a price of 90 dollars. I researched them and found tons of complaints, def. a Scam....I called them back multiple times and finally after a few threats of reporting them to better bussiness I got my number off thier list....hopefully. Just a heads up! Anybody else had this experience? Tom

I've had the same scammer call me about a truck I sold on Cars.com.

The scammer called my number 3 times, even though I told him the truck was sold during first call!

I was just thinking about using auto trader. I guess it's back to Craig's list.

These scam people come anywhere your car is posted with a phone number. Just tell them to **** themselves when they call.....takes all of two seconds - and it really makes you feel better some times
