headlight fog
My drivers side headlights has been getting fog in it and its driving me crazy. The headlights never been opened. Is there a way to fix this without buying a new one. It's an ap1 if that makes a difference.

One trick is to pull out your bulb connector and blow the inside of the headlight with a hair dryer. has worked for me in the past. Not a permanent fix but if the condensation only shows up very rarely, its better then ripping it out and resealing it.

How often does this happen? Happened on my IS and I parked it in the hot hot sun (SoCal) for a few hours and it never came back. Condensation started right after I installed an HID kit and it rained the next day.

I thought that I had that problem with condensation inside. However I bought the 3m headlight kit and it fixed the problem or at least made it much better. It can be hard to tell if it is inside or not. i would buy that kit first and try that. You can get it at walmart. If that doesn't work I would take the light out and do the hair dryer method as someone stated.
If both fail you can drill holes in the bottom of the headlight to let the condensation come out then seal them up once it clears up.
And the most effective way to do it is to put the headlight in the oven and take it apart once it is heated. You then have to clean it and reheat it to get it back together. This however is risky and why I would do it as a last resort.
