i have FIPK with cooling plate, but it still seems to bog on hot days!

This is designed to work with a stock intake box. Not sure how you would fit it with the FIPK.

Back to the header question...unless you combine the header with other mods, it really isn't worth the money in my opinion. The oem header is very well designed...if you ever do take it off the car, you will see.
