Default Header question

I'm in the process of researching the different headers out there, and have a good idea of what the Spoon and Mugen give you as far as performance. However, I was wondering about the lower end (cost wise) DC Header ... I have heard mixed reviews any thoughts? Also, what about Comptec.

For what is worth, I have the Mugen exhaust.

Thanks for any input.

Our local S2000 group just got together for a Dyno Day (https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=73976). If you look at the charts, there is 1 white and 1 blue. They are both '02s with very similar mods. The blue has completely stock exhaust and header, but the white has the DC header and an aftermarket exhaust.

Get the Mugen headers. I have just the Mugen exhaust, and Pinky has just the Mugen header. They gave him a nice bump in midrange power on the dyno. I am adding Mugen header to my car on Monday along with my Vortech supercharger install.

Since you already have the exhaust, it makes sense to do the Mugen header too. Why put a $1500 exhaust with a $300 DC header?

If it helps it looks like there is a group buy going on for mugen stuff, you might be able to get the header for $1100-$1200. Do a search for Mugen Special or check out "Today's Active threads" it should be in there someplace.

The S2000, like all cars with inline engines, can't have a "set of headers".

At any rate I edited the post to make you happy
Actually, I am very anal AND I am having a bad day. Thanks for fixing it.

I just have nothing better to do with the 7 hours that I spend at work each day. I'm in the Telecom industry, and am just waiting to be laid off.
