Most of them wouldn't know an S2000 from a Civic. They think it's all show rather than go. Can you blame them after the influx of fart can "tuner" Hondas that only have cosmetic upgrades?
Usually after a ride or a drive in one, they jump on the bandwagon.
If they still pooh-pooh after that, them maybe it's because they're jealous.

Who cares what other people think? You can't please everyone and not everyone will agree with everything you do. Just shrug it off. Not everyone likes the S2K. If you are looking for respect, you will not get it because it's earned not bought. I hope that makes sense.

I dont know if its just me but, I never back out of a challenge especially from those V8s. Our lil 4banger is a V8 killer!
I usually back out of a challenge from fellow 4 bangers because loosing to them will hurt me, and my S2Ks feelings a lot more..
The only reason I say this is because it feels good to beat cars with more than 4cylinders. hehe. It just shows WE(Honda owners) dont need more cylinders or bigger engines to be fast. They just jealous because the need a V8 engine to compensate for their slow carz... If I lost to them, oh well, life goes on. lol
Our lil 4banger maybe small but its quick like a Ninja!

Wanting to race a four cylinder car with their "anyone can make power with a V8 engines" that's just funny.
It usually takes me about .5 tenths of a second, the time it takes me to down shift to shut them up!

Thx guys for the response, I have learned to ignore it I've worked very hard to afford an S2000 and it's the best car i've ever driven or owned. I'll just take there comments as jelousy and brush it off.
