Has anyone traded in a relatively new S for a CR?

Thanks, there's a black CR at my local dealership and I agree it's beautiful. The salesmen are telling me it's a rare car, only 1500 made, to boost the price. They're still offering me a pretty good deal, though.

If they can meet my price, I'll probably trade mine in. I love the prospect of even better handling and a stiffer chassis.

S2K sales were bad last month so invoice or less shouldn't be an issue. Don't pay more than invoice!

Thanks for the tip; they were offering me $900 over invoice and I considered myself lucky!

Bottom line, I think $12,000 out the door after a trade in for my 19,800 mi 2006 should be a great deal for me. That's what I'm asking.

$900 over invoice ..LOL I don't think so! Some guys have said they paid less. In my dealings if there's no incentive I'm okay with invoice.

Hmm the trade in is what's tough as my S2K was upside down. They weren't holding their value like the old S2Ks but then they turned around and asked quite a bit for my car on the used car lot ..bastards! Oh I only had 11k on MY06.

Best of luck my friend!

Well to start I have the same coilovers on the CR that I did on MY06 so that's a constant.
Just wondering if there is anything that you are not happy with the OEM suspension? How do you setup your coilovers to make it better than OEM?

Oh the OEM set up is fine for street and I'm sure for track but I'm a stiff suspension junkie. The base S2K suspension is like being in a Cadillac to me

The CR was good but not stiff enough to me. I'm talking quality stiff though not just crash bang over every bump. My suspension was tuned by a track buddy of mine and it's perfect in combination with the CRs extra stiffness.
