I wonder if anyone has ever attempted to run an S2000 at the Bonneville Salt Flats during speed weeks and attempt to set a class record ?
I know there was a fellow who ran an F20C in a streamliner and set a record @ almost 300 mph.
But what I'm talking about is a stock bodied S2000

I got my AP2 up to 135 once,
it felt stable but I was scared of getting caught going that fast, I'm wiser then I one was.
I once wrapped out my LT1 Fiero but have no idea how fast I was going.
The spedo was broken, but I was passing cars on the interstate that looked like they were sitting still.
Around the time I shifted into 5th the headlights popped up and scared the crap out of me but I kept going till it wouldnt accelerate anymore.
That car was scary at those speeds, it felt like at any moment it would either jerk into the next lane or take flight and crash into some poor people in a 747.

I did 167 on the way to vegas, on that last strip on the 15 where it is a little down hill before you see all the city lights. I do not recommend it, at all. I was so scared. But, it was at 4 in the morning with no one in sight
