I am scheduled to have the work done tomorrow, but others have said that their Honda dealers say that the parts can't be ordered yet.

Thanks for any info,

Ted

Mike,

Bellevue. I'll post a note in the Pacific Northwest forum after I gat back from the dealer to let everyone know what's up.

matrix,

thank you. Good job with the photos; looks like the part is actually changed. I wasn't sure that it would be.

Has anyone in the US had this done yet?

I had some other work done today (Driver window TBS) and they knew about the recall, and said that the parts have not come in yet. They are expecting them in the next month. So I guess I get to tighten them for now, and pray.

Drove by two dealerships today. Both of them said they still had not received any official communication from Honda, but at least were aware of the TSB/recall. Neither one had parts available or on order. They told me to come back in two weeks or so...

No joy. The parts person mistakenly thought both parts (A/C filter and spark plug TSB kit) were in, when in fact only the A/C filter was. The scheduled time with the tech and everything.

I suspected that's what might have happened; that's why I posted this thread.

Don't expect to get this service done right away.

do all 2002 models have to have this done, or only certain ones? I heard that just a certain production range has to have it done (#0026-?). How do I find out what production number I am?

Check the last four or five digits of your VIN.
