Hardwiring Valentine One in Honda S2000
Does anyone have a recommended method to hardwire it? It comes with a clamp device to strip the insulation from another wire, but I generally don't like this sort of device (too prone to problems, at least with applications like outdoor low-voltage lighting). I generally go with wirecaps.
I'm also not sure which wires are best for wiring the Valentine One. Has anyone done it? I'd hate to wire into the wrong circuit and blow the detector, or worse, mess something up with the electrical.
By the way, this is the third V-1 (no, for my third car!), and I'd recommend NOTHING BUT Valentine-1. It's the best radar detector by far, regardless what some of the internet detector ratings say.
The one's that matter (Car and Driver, my personal experience) say different. Real world-this is the one.
