Good option if you have no space in your house to lay the top flat on the ground, well close anyway since the two slot in pins on each side keep the top at an angle.

However, I found it much better to simply lay it out on 2 mattress spread out on the floor. At least there is not the worry of any accidents that you might push the top or it just falls off. People with kids will understand what I mean, not that I have any kids.

Up to you though, I got it when I took delivery of the car as one of the complimentary stuff they gave me. Nothing special you tell me, I absolutely think it's stupid and always having to put the cover on and off with the clumsy rack just increases unnecessary fine scratches and probility of an accident that the top might just fall off one side and break the beautiful glass.

 

I checked with my source, the cover for the hard top is currently available MSRP is $99. The storage rack was supposed to be available June 1, but there has been a delay and the expect them to be available sometime in July with a MSRP of $599. Hope this helps all those curious about it.
