Default Hardtop pics with hardtop removed please

I was hoping someone had some pics of a car with an OEM installed hardtop with the hardtop removed. I'd like to see the modifications that are made to the car and how it looks with the top off.

Thanks!

Ajjra,

I don't have a hardtop (plan on getting one) but I don't it is much different than when the soft top is down. The modifications are the defroster button on the center console and the top latches. The rear panels behind the seats might be a little different also. But I don't think the changes are significant.

Ajjra, I should have mine by this Saturday. So come to the meet either in Long Island this weekend or the next one in NJ next weekend.

I guess what I'm asking for is pics of the cabin (new brackets or mounts)

Anything inside the car that wasn't there before the install.
I have an '02, so no need for pics of the defroser switch.

Thanks!

Sorry, I have no photos of just the brackets.

If you are wondering if the car looks different the answer is basically no. You would have to go out of your way to look at a car to determine if it has been retrofitted to take a hardtop. And if you use the roof cover when the top is down, you would never know because the brackets would be covered by it.
The brackets are between the outer body and the interior plastic trim just behind the doors. The brackets are not really in the interior, you can only see them if you are looking straight down into the gap where the folding top arms move.

Is this helping???

Ajjra, go to the NY Metro Forum to keep up on local meets.

Go to the HandA site and check out the install instructions. They should answer all your questions.

Maybe he just wants to see the hardtop without the car too?
