Hello.
I know there are different kits for different years. I searched for this specific bit of info with no avail. Sorry if this is a repost anyway.

I have a 2001 car. I am looking into purchasing a 2003 hardtop w/hardware kit. The kit does not have the defrost kit, but that's okay. I am wondering if the catchers will work anyway. Can I put the 03 kit on my car so that the top will at least be on my car? Or do the catchers and other pieces change as well for the different years? Thank you very much!!!!

About the only thing you might need are the heavy duty windshield strikers, which were part of the '00 and '01 kit. Since you're getting a HT from an '03, it may not have come with these strikers as that car already had them from the factory. The rest should be enough to mount the top to the car.
