I haven't taken the tape off. Im not sure how it would look. If I took the tape off there would be a black strip in between the windshield and the hardtop.

The hardtop was a promise to me when the car was purchased. They didn't want me at school, in the winter without a hardtop. I didn't complain.

brandonb - just curious as to where the defroster switch is on a 2001 car - is it on the console or did they update the kit and put it on the dash, like for the MY2002?

I'm mad about the defroster button!!! They put it where the coin holder thing is by the cup holder. I now have no place to put my phone!!!! Oh well.

figured as much...that kinda stinks - they should eventually switch over to the dash placement - i think if i went ahead and got the top i would request the dash placement even if it cost me a little extra...
