Default Hardtop hardware questions

I searched for a while and couldn't find any answers.
I see the hardtop install kit from Hardtopguy, but what is really needed for a hardtop installation?
The only thing really needed to hold down the hardtop is the side catchers right?
Can't I reuse the softop latch and put them on the hardtop?
I guess for the mugen style ones, I'll also need weatherstripping and a window?
Thanks!

The new hardtop will come with new ones already attached.

Mugen style, I have no idea. Real Mugens come with the w/s and the window.

Thanks!

You're welcome.

You dont necessarilly have to get the side catchers. I bought brackets off a fellow S2ki member for significantly less than the price of side catchers. Instead of the catcher and the side latches (which should come on the hardtop itself just like the overhead latches - I am only commenting for the OEM one) it is a bracket which attaches the hardtop to the body using existing holes. 3 of these attach to the old side latch and one bolt at the body.

Also if you get side catchers it is recommended to get replacement brushes which accomodate the side catcher - also available in hardtopguy. With the bracket I used it wasn't necessary for the brushes.

PM me if you want the guys S2KI username.
