I had a few issues in the early days - my car is #31 off the production line - a very early build - so it had a few teething problems.

In the 1st year of ownership I had the clutch replaced because of clutch spring buzz - but it came back. I also had 2nd, 3rd and 6th gears/synchros replaced - all under warranty.

Final item was roof / plastic rear window which I had replaced during my 5th year of ownership - again covered under my extended warranty.

Car otherwise runs fine except occasionally I get the timing chain screech on startup - time to replace the tensioner at some point.

I tracked the car a lot during the first 5 years and went through my fair share of tyres, brake pads, rotors etc. but nothing else has broken.

Oh, finally - a couple of fenderbenders - nothing serious.

I hope to get my car past the 10 year mark. I know I'll never sell it, but the is a possibility of having it totaled

Nice. 10 year mark is coming up for a lot of us. I think there was another thread about owning the car for 10 years. I hope to keep mine for another 10.
