Hairline Marks on Lights
I have found that there are hairlines in my headlights (both). They don't appear to be on the exterior, I can't feel them and they don't polish off. I don't have any film on the lights either (I have seen badly cracked lenses in the past).
At FC I noticed one or 2 other cars that had similar but not as bad a problem.
The cracks are not evident at all angles (depends on the light direction). I don't have pics right now but will add later.
Anyone else with similar problems?
Thanks,

Yes, I have them on my left headlight. Honda will be replacing it under warrantee, but it required inspection by the DSM for approval. I don't think it is a structural or functional defect, but it isn't attractive.

Joshua,
Are you still under warranty? After all of the mess about the lights crazing when using the StonGuard, I was still undecided. A local member had static cling window tint on his, and HIS crazed, but I didn't pay it much attention. I have two years and 50k miles on mine, with no crazing....until 3 weeks after I put the static cling tint on my lights.
So, if you had yours replaced when it wasn't under warranty, I would like to try the same, and this time, I will NOt be putting anything on those lights

Are we sure that the cracking/crazing is the same thing in all of our cases? The marks in my headlight don't look like cracks, more like distortions along a band on the upper part of the inner surface of the lexan shield. The DSM speculated that it may be remnants of the mold release used in making them and he reported that he had never seen it before (he works the SE region). It does appear similar to the crazing that can occur on imporperly prepared painted surfaces.

I had some very fine cracks on mine as well. They appeared to be stress cracks...you can really see them when the sun hits the headlights. I had both of the headlight housings replaced under warranty. So far, the new headlights seem to be fine.
I did not use any cleaning solvent on the headlights nor do I have any static cling or StoneGuard on the lights.
The Service Manager made the call to replace the headlights, so they ordered the parts overnight. I got the car back the next day.
