you've been here 106 days.....

the temple of v-tec article caused quite a fury when it came out months ago.

in the end, the article and the tuner/dyno operator in the article - UL on this board - are more credible than your neighbour's dyno slip with 205 printed on it.

other 2004's are dyno-ing MUCH higher than 205 to the wheels....do a search.
so is it true that the 2004 s2k dynoed at 240 hp at the wheels ??

MUCH = 5-10 hp and "other" = 1-2

I thought the 04's were dynoing at about 210whp, is this correct or have some of you gotten a much healthier car.

what the hell?? i'm getting confused.

from temple of vtec forum, people are saying the 240 dyno is not wheel hp. but according to temple of vtec the 2004 s2k dynoed at 243 whp. doesn't whp mean wheel horse power?

does anybody have a clear answer as to how much power the 2004 is making?

I suppose you could always buy a 04 and have it dynoed, be sure to let us all know the results.

i would love to do so, but i need to know this before i buy the car.

i was offered a great deal on a new 03. but if the 2004 is making 20 more hp at the wheels than the previous models, than i would rather get the 2004. hence the reason i'm asking EVERYBODY.

I test drove an '03 and an '04.
I bought an '04.
I liked it better in every way.
