OK, OK. . .the subject title for this one is a little confusing but let me reiterate!
As many of you already know, I traded my '00 S2000 two weeks ago for my new '02 Sebring Silver/Black.
However, there's more to this story. . .
The dealer where I originally purchased my '00 S2000 had promised me their first '02 S2000. They ordered it Suzuka Blue and expected it in their dealership sometime after January.
I told the dealer that I'd wait to see the new Suzuka Blue in person before we did any deals (they wanted to go ahead and trade me out of my '00 S2000 and put me in something like an Accord until the '02 came in).
So, while in Jersey, after Rick's awesome North East meet, I see the new Sebring Silver and the dealer was asking sticker. Plus they gave me a great trade in price for my '00! I figured, what the hell. . .I really love the new color and it's here now!
Well, I get the call today that LeJeune Honda in Jacksonville has my Suzuka Blue S2000!
I'm thinking to myself. . .WHAT!?! My Suzuka Blue. . .two '02's in my driveway!
No, kidding. . .so I decided I owed it to the car to visit her today! She is a beauty and it was very eerie seeing her. She is in the same position as my '00 Berlina Black with Red was. Lights gleaming every which direction! Same kind of night too! Cool and crisp out! Really strange. . .
So, that's what we do here. . .right? We share our feelings about the S2000's that we LOVE! Well, that's what I felt I had to do!
The dealer was a little pissed about me buying somewhere else, but hey. . .they'll get over it! I really wasn't looking forward to doing business with them again! For any folks that are curious, they are asking $600 over sticker.
Here are soem pics. . .really eerie! Just a year or so ago, my '00 was sitting in the same place!
Here's a link with all the photos. . .

Wow. I can't wait to get mine! I've also put a deposit on a Sebring Silver with black interior and will be trading in my '00 Blk/Red #3263 with no TSB's done except for that seat belt recall. I'm hoping to get at least $29,000 for it with 23,000 miles on it.

Do not worry! The sales persons at Lejune Honda are idiots! They wanted 40K for a Spa Yellow that sat in their showroom for 4 months. I pulled up in my 2001 Silver/Black 1 month later, which I paid $32,740 out the door (Nov '00), then I told them to suck my Wonka Bar. Their sales manager said I was BSing them, until I showed them the paper work.
I hope they never sell another car, but with every Marine in J'ville willing to finance a car for 50 years. They will be there.
