H I D H1 Conversion Kits
I'm seeing these kits listed on eBay for about $300.00 bucks.
These are the kits that replace the H1's with an H1 style HID replacement bulb and your stock wiring harness powers the ballast for the HID. Apparently no cutting or altering the exisiting system plug&play.
Has anyone done this or seen another S with these installed?
BTW: Does anyone know what Kelvin our low beams would be equiv too? As if I decide to get these I'd like to match the color temp as close as possible.

why. hid's comes standard in the s2000... it is just someone trying to get money and screwing over a s2000 owner for something they already have. i understand if you do it to a car without it. maybe this is the other term or well sort of. XENON

These would replace the exsisting H1 Bulbs in the HIGH BEAM slot on my 04 and replace the halogen bulbs in there now. Like I didn't know I had HID onboard already

our factory bulbs are 4100K, but all HIDs tend to get cooler (higher Kelvin) as they get older. Philips sells 5000K bulbs to match older bulbs.
I think the original low beams are awesome. The best I've seen. No need to change them.
