It can change gear very fast and you don't get the losses of an Auto.
Sure, manual is nice for tactility, but for performance and reliability (yes yes, I know that GTR boxes have been dying, but the same would happen to a stick manual box too) you really can't beat the dual clutch.

^i agree in many ways it is the wave of the future, and has great performance advantages. my point tho is this sports car (even super car to some people) does not come in a manual. might as well sell it under a buick logo for all i care. i'd NEVER buy one. for the price i'd get many other cars. not because i think it sucks, but because i want three petals

I agree Mutt. If I don't change it myself, I don't want it. Since I am not in F1 looking for the last 1/1000s, dual clutch quick shifts and paddle shifters are of no interest to me either. That makes a soul-less "sports car".

The GT-R's advantage will be decrease when doing those corners. The only thing that is keeping that GT-R in place in its AWD. On the side note, the S2000 driver have a crazy ass entrance speed compared to the GT-R driver.
