I ran GC coils with OEM shocks (moderate drop of about 1 to 1.5") and it worked pretty good. I got a bunch of FTDs at autoX and it worked well at the track as well. I ran 340 in front and 380 in the rear.
The secret if you are using OEM shocks is to not go too low or get really stiff springs.

The fact that you can get custom rates per Koni/GC setup per your situation I would say the GC/ Koni setup would be better. In addition, you could also get the shocks revalved per your situation as well.
