OK, simple question...
My S2000 makes what I could only describe as
a 'groaning' noise when the clutch is engaged
or disengaged under load (noticable more when
letting off the clutch pedal - changing gears).
So, basically is the noise occurs at about 40%
to 80% 'engagement' of the clutch.
No noise while driving.

Well, I hope that's explained it.
The car has 1300 miles (2000Km) on it,
and from memory has always done it.

Has anyone experienced this ?

I'd like to mention that my Car in reference
to the above message is a January 2001 Build.

I would expect that all TSB's have been
applied to the vehicle as all current TSB's
were 2000 year.

I hear this in mine too. When I tried to show this sound to the dealer (Weseloh), I wasn't able to reproduce it. Seems like sometimes the sound is easier to reproduce and sometimes you can't hear it. In any case, I now simply view it as an incentive to manage the clutch very precisely -- that is, precise rev-matching + letting out the clutch very quickly. The less I hear of that noise the better. Do a search for "clicky fart" -- that's how I described the groan sound you mention.
