That said, we can all agree chirping is fun.
Also, I live in Florida, all my driving is in a straight line. No way I'd ever do this thru a turn or curve.

Bad clutch drops (read: spins) are definitely bad -- but they damage the clutch, not the diff. The problem is that the clutch is pretty cheap to repair/replace -- but the diff is an expensive, expensive, component.

Anyway, I think a 2nd gear chirp is considerably less strenuous on the car than clutch drops or heavy bogging, but I may be wrong. I'm still learning a lot too.

Yeah, we did kind of wander off there, but I'm learning stuff I really need to know if I'm going to be driving this car as hard as I do. I thought chirping the tires was harmless, So it's all good.
