BTW, how old are you? I find the younger guys love the veilside look. I can't stand it, I like a cleaner look.
I'm 39. I don't dislike all add-ons, and I think the Amuse lip looks great.

The veilside kits just remind me of the plastic cladding on a Pontiac. I don't think the lines of the S2000 lend themselves to swoopy bodykits at all. To me, it just ends up looking like clutter stuck on as an afterthought, not an enhancement to the underlying design.

But I guess people like them, or they wouldn't sell.

High schoolers seem to love anything that is gaudy and obnoxious.

I personally think the S2000 looks best totally stock. I hate seeing s2000's with external mods (Wings, body kits, etc). I think all those external mods only detract from great design of this car.

I figured you were in your 30's, as am I. my 5 year old loves the Veilside look. I do like the amuse, and even teh Mugen($$$). I like exterior mods to be understated and functional, and performance mods to be over the top

I'm 17 and I hate the Veilside kit. The back end and rear fender just looks horrible. I've been saving up for my S2000 for 9 months and I would never put that on my car. I like the Top secret bumper and I've been lookin at some volks for when I finally do get my car in spring.

I think you should take the $10,000 your parents are giving you and the $4,000 that you have and put a down payment on a good education.
