Greetings everyone
I'm a long time lurker and fan of the S2K. Currently I own a 1997 Z3 with the 2.8L engine. I want to replace it with something newer, less prone to breaking (its been a chore to keep on the road lately) and preferably with far better performance.
Currently I'm unemployed, so any and all car shopping is just wishful thinking at this point, and the car I most wish for is the S2000. My father has a Black 2000 that I absolutely love to drive, and if I an find a way to swing it financially I will be getting my own.
If not, hopefully I can be consoled by chatting with all of you and hearing how much you enjoy yours (yeah, like that will really help).

When you take care of the unemployment thing then the rest can fall into place. That will make it possible for your dreams of that S to come true. The brand new S, it seems to me, is a very strong motivation to land that good job. BEST OF LUCK!
However, if your family is floating in cash you could bypass all the employment thing and start hinting about what you want for your birthday and Christmas (or the newest holiday).

Definately, I work in IT and there aren't a lot of Sysadmin openings in my corner of the world (Northern MD, SE PA and DE). If I can land a really good job, I'll probably get an S2K. If not there are other options that come close, but not quite.
