In my continuing question for engine bay perfection, I've been searching for places that develop and sell components for this purpose. After seeing some of the classic cars at Airgate's show in New Bern, NC last weekend, I was reinsipred to continue the quest, and I thought others might be interested in the results. Here are some manufactueres/sellers I found and a brief description of what they offer.

Coolflex radiator hose: http://www.coolflex.com

Coolflex makes and sells radiator and heater hoses made of seamless corrugated copper . The hoses are powdercoated or chrome plated. The hose can be cut and formed to any shape, so they can match the stock set-up. I saw one of these on a classic car in New Bern and it was beautiful.

Aeroquip stainless steel braided hose: http://www.bakerprecision.com/earls1.htm

(Baker Precision)

Baker Precision sells Aeroquip braided hose, which is probably the finest braided hose available, since it's designed for racing applications, not just decorative. This is not just a braided sleeve, but stainless braid protected synthetic rubber hose. This is the same premium quality racing hose the top racing teams depend on in every form of professional racing, featuring an inner liner of synthetic rubber which is resistant to oxidation, the effects of ozone and other various agents present in the air with a partial coverage protective sheath of stainless steel braid embedded in the liner during manufacture. This site also sells hose ends and many other goodies.

Show-off Stainleess: http://www.showoffstainless.com (ShowOff Stainless)

Here you can find polished hose ends, stainless braid to slip over stock hoses, and polished stainless steel hose clamps in all sizes. The hose ends are a bit expensive, and the last site listed below sells them at a more reasonable price.

Ecno-fit hose ends: http://www.amstreetrod.com/html/econ-o-fit.html#r (American Street Rod Performance Products)

This site offers more economical hose ends, both polished and powder coated. It also has tons of other hoses and fittings.

I've ordered some things from all of these places and will report back when the stuff arrives.

Rick,

I'm adding http://www.hosetechniques.com to your list. They offer a large range of silicone vaccuum and heater hose sizes, as well as minimal kits specifically cut to length for the S2000 (although only a few hoses are replaced, not all).

I like the coolflex better than RadHozz, or whatever it is.

Rick,
Here is the place I order my Spectre stainless steel braided hoses and anodized hose ends: http//:www.randrspecialty.com.

You can buy hoses and hoses end in bulk. The reason I selected Spectre was for the stainless steel vacuum lines with anodized aluminum hose ends. Most vendors only supply heat shrink tubing for the vacuum lines.

I noticed they also do custom braided hoses. I am going to call them for an estimate for an upper radiator hose and I will let everyone know the cost.

I will also post when I get more information about the billet aluminum radiator brackets, I discovered in a magazine.

Thanks for starting the thread.

Sorry for changing the subject, but are those fog lights on this car, anyone? If so, can you let me know the details? Rick, if this is your car, do you plan to make these available (assuming I'm not seeing things)? Also, it's a sweet ride. What all have you customized?

Yes, yes, I too would like info on the fogs....or maybe they are just silver mesh grill inserts....?

I have the ShowOff stainless steel hose kit on our S and it looks and works great! Hose techniques for smaller stuff works well to compliment the Stainless.

BTW: Rick, after recieving the boot, badges and VooDoo Shift knob, I was very impressed with the fit, quality anf finish. You do yourself proud and even more, you do the S2000 proud.

-Now if we can only get the splitter that works with the OE underbody spoiler.......
