Sounds to me like he was trying to off-handedly floss his Ferrari.
This is the only response I actually agree with. He has no reason to find out if I'm a good neighbor because if he does buy the abandoned house next door, he'll sell it right away.
He didn't seem weird, so I'm sure he wasn't talking to me because he noticed how sexy I looked in my tank top and basketball shorts.

awesome. as the exotics aren't too too common here in detroit, i think i'd def stop and try to ask a couple questions on his ride too. even try to do a car swap even just to go around the block.

oh and props for washing your car yourself. - thats the only way to go. now go post pics up in wash n wax and get your badge

I'm not good at washing it, though. I always seem to leave some residue/swirly marks on the car. I prefer getting it washed through a machine than hand washing it myself.

BTW, exotics aren't common at all in my town, but I'm used to seeing exotics all over SoCal, so it doesn't surprise me much when I see a Ferrari on the highway or a Bentley cruising through a busy intersection.

He wanted a closer look at your ass while you were bent over washing your car

Just how much attention did you give his Ferrari when he passed by? Guy might've mistaken your appreciation for his car for interest in the driver, came back to verify...just a theory. LOL, J/K.

Couple years ago the wife and I were driving thru Boynton Beach, near the ocean when a silver F360(?) Spyder drives by in opposite direction. Fifty something, well-tanned driver, wearing a big smile, hits his horn and waves. I took it as his appreciation for another convertible, but who knows. Anyway, felt pretty good. Wifey teased me all the way home, that I thought I was now driving a Ferrari.

Your story was too long for me to read. I thought someone asked you if it was a Miata
