Default Got rear ended on the 71 S ! GRR!

So im on the 71 S in Pomona. I come up to the Ninth St. Stoplight - its red. There is one car in front of me and a Astro Van behind me, we are all fully stopped. The light turns green and the guy in front of me starts to roll.... as i take my foot off of the break i get hit from behind HARD... as i start to pull over onto the shoulder i can see it was the Chevy Astro Van that hit me....i got out of the car litterally shaking because i thought the damage was gonna be brutal. It wasnt that bad.... im stilll absolutley pissed tho ..... the lady in the AstroVan said "she didnt see me" ... ..... anyway, wat do u guys think of the damage, am i gonna have to get a new bumper or is this fixable???

P.S. - Sry about freeway and street references...thought i was in So Cal Forum..

Get a new bumper mostly since it will be here insurance paying for it. Also, your bumper support may be damaged so make sure to take care of that new car the right way!

Guess we need an orange flag on a pole to warn drivers behind us. How could she NOT see you.

That sucks man. I'd get a new bumper at her expense; you shouldn't have to suffer because of someone's else's screwup (car wise or financially).

Man, that sucks, you got a 2006 also. Definitely get a new bumper.

Lady and a minivan or SUV=danger, danger.

I seriously doubt you'll get a new bumper unless you buy it yourself--$250 for a new one. I bet it's about $300 total if they fix yours. My car's in the shop getting the rear bumper fixed right now. I figured I'd get a new one too, but they told me they can fix it and it looks way worse than yours--$1800 damage. I considered paying myself for a new one, but my insurance compay will guarantee the repair for the life of the car so it's not really worth it. Good luck,
JASON
