You can kill the drone of any exhaust with the right soundproofing steps to tone it down to a level you can enjoy. I thought I had made a mstake about making my mufflers louder, I fixed that completely by spending the time to modify the sound transmission of the car.

Or keep the stock ones and spend money on performance driving schools.

Tanabe Racing Medallion is extremely loud. As loud or louder than Invidia.

this isnt my first car or my first exhaust, i watched the intallation because it was free. it is what it is. the crap was too loud. i drive alot on the highway so 3 to 4k rpms is the norm in 6th, and thats when that exhaust was at 1000db. for all or you who have had big subwoofers, its like a mid range bass note that rattles everything in your car, thats all i can compare it to.

I had the Hyper Medallion for a while. To me, it was barely louder than stock. I noticed no drone at all but your ears are probably more sensitive than mine. I think the Tanabe and the Fuji are probably the quietest aftermarket exhausts out there. My advice to you would be to return to stock if the Tanabe is still hard to live with.
