There is another thread in the S2000 Forum, something about paint problems. One of the posters seems to indicate he could assist in getting a decent color match. Perhaps that's another venue for Rick?

I bet a black with Sebring S would be a great seller to all the Sebring owners , Rick.

I've checked the paint sample we sent the manufacturer and it was Suzuka blue. The problem appears to be in the paint formulation used for the badges. At a certain angle in relation to the light source, it's a near perfect match. At a different angle, it's a much brighter blue. Unfortunately, from most angles it shows as the brighter blue. I think this has something to do with the way the metalflake in the badge color is formulated.

Work on the new blue badges will begin tomorrow and I'll provide progress reports as it goes forward.

Rick, I might be talking out of my ass here. But wouldn't the 2000 show up more if it's in black? From all the pics of the blue set it doesn't look like you can see the 2000 very well compare to the other colors. After seing a set on the red over the weekend we're very interested in the blue for our car.

Still working on the color match. I need someone with a Suzuka blue in the Baltimore area to do the final checking. Who's got one?

Just came accross this thread...and I've only had my s2k for a few weeks anyway...

Rick, do you still need a Sazuka in the area? I just happen to have one, and am only 45 minutes away. I want some of your stuff anyway, so this might be a good excuse to come up and say hi
