I work at a body shop some. That price seems rediculous to me. I think Jerry's bumpers makes an identical replica oem bumper for $234 retail. It is oem quality as well. Either way, that is insanely high. I would say 600-800 for a new bumper and paint.

1000-600$ is just WAY to high for just painting the bumper
you can as you said just bring them the bumper to paint and you install it yourself....if so then they should charge you around 250-300$ for paint (im being generous here)

How bad is Maaco if I just give them a primered bumper to spray? Am I a terrible person for even asking?
