where do you live man? is there not another honda dealer around you within a 100 mile raius? tell them you don't want to deal with them anymore, that sounds shady.

i had the same scenario. they did a dealer trade for me. they still tried to sell me a berlina which i didn't want, i told them i was leaving. they called me 15 mins after i left and said they would do the dealer trade at the price we negotiated. they went and got the car the next day.

why the hell were they picking up your car so early. don't buy a car from them.

If you are the type of person that is likely to keep the car till the wheels fall off, hang in there for your first color choice.

If you trade every few years, give Laguna a try. Like many have already said, it is a hot color.

i would go to another dealer but when i ordered the car i gave them $500 deposit and i don't think they'll give it back, it said in the contract. i don't wanna lose out on $500 you know.

BS they wont give it back, you paid them $500 for a NFR, and they can't deliver one to you, that $500 is yours man.

Did the contract state that the dealer would wreck your car too? If you want to go by the contract, the dealer has until 8/1/2006 to deliver your car. No car on 8/1, and you get your money back. You don't want to spend your days seeing an NFR on the road and wishing you had that color. Get the color you want. 

BTW how sure are we that there is a 2007 s2000 coming out, and if soo when will they make it public, i went to the NYC auto show for all the new 2007 models and all i saw there was the 06 laguna blue, but nothing about a 2007 change.

j85, if your heart is set on NFR, wait it out, never wanna have buyers remorse down the road...besides, NFR is hotness too, I own one :D

Seriously, I would go with your first pick. Go with what you really want and don't compromise for some incompetent dealer.
