Who knows? I don't know how much your tax and tags are, but it sounds ok. I paid about 28,000 for my 02 brand new last month up here in Boston. (advertised price was 28,890, including destination and then they gave me about 1,000 more for my trade than any one else at 3 or 4 different dealerships). Yours is current model year, so that means something. I am told Honda is offering the dealers a $500 rebate on the hard tops too right now.
Hope this helps.

yea... that 500 dollar rebate for the hard top rings a bell becuz most the dealers said they would give me the hard top for 2600, the msrp is 3100 so maybe i will tell my dealer that... the reason why i am staying with her is bc she took off like 1000 off msrp... so if i can get a deal on the hard top i should be strait right?

it's not a GREAT price.... probably cuz I'm from the car-buying school of "if they offered it at one price, you can probably get it just a little cheaper"
enjoy either way

$36,600 out the door sounds fine to me for what you're getting, but you probably could do a bit better if you like bargaining. I've heard of people negotiating a couple of thousand off list for the base car.
I was just at Poway Honda getting my Civic serviced, and noticed that they have two 2003's in the showroom, a Silverstone and a Suzuka. For both cars, the list price was 33,060 including destination charges, but a second sticker listed $9995 in "dealer added options" without being specific what those options were. I am amazed that any dealership, even in California, is still getting away with asking for that kind of markup. They tried the same thing on me three months ago, but I just went to a different dealer and paid list for my car. Some buyers must just not shop around.
