Default Good experience at West End Alignment

I just got back from getting my wheel alignment at West End Alignment in Gardena today. It was a long drive from Riverside, but no one out here wants to even try aligning my lowered S2000. Weseloh Honda did it for me last time, but this time they want more than TWICE the price (they said it would be $156!!!). So I went with West End Alignment since I've always heard good things about them and that they do a lot of race cars and sh!t like that.

I was a little worried when Darin first started on my alignment and I realized he doesn't use a computerized alignment setup. But he takes his time and triple checks everything with some very expensive tools.

The car's alignment feels better now than it ever has. Darin's attention to detail and patience in getting the car to exactly the specs you give him is unparalleled.

I recommend anyone in SoCal who wants a proper alignment should pay him a visit. The cost? $75. Very competitive.

Sweet. I'll keep this place in mind when I finally decide to lower the car. It's always hard to find people that you can trust to do good work. Thanks for the info!

A good alignment is almost impossible to find it seems. It is good you finally found one in your region.

Darin at West End did the alignment today, and the handling issues I had previously are gone. In another thread in Racing/etc. I told how in corners I felt as though the back was just going for the ride and didn't participate in the cornering.

Turns out although the rear camber was neg 2 deg or so, the toe in was excessive, thus making the back neutral or "lazy" as Darin put it. Cornering now does not have that excess understeer I was having.

Darin knows about car handling, not just about putting the numbers to match the specs in some book. He tailors the alignment to meet driving or competition needs, and he himself suggested I sit in the car for optimal alignment.

Thanks, Reverend for the heads up about West End, and to Darin for aligning the S2K so well.

Great job again.... I just got my alignment and this time got my corner balancing. The difference is night and day.

Thanks Darin @ West End Alignment.

The only place I would take my car "EVER"
