Tried to do a search but too many posts to go through so just a quick personal question.
How many of you guys are just totally satified with your s2000 stock and don't plan to do anything to it. I know its a great car out of the box but I see so many people on the board with superchargers, intake, suspension mods, body kits, rims, etc. etc.

Out of the box - I am satisfied. I don't really care for what most of the people on this board have as far as "performance" mods like superchargers, intake, headers, exhaust, blah blah blah. I don't quite understand it, unless you race the car, then yes. As a daily driver, to work and back, stock from the factory is perfectly fine. I mean honestly, will having all that "stuff" really get you to work faster?
Enjoy the drive as it was meant to be from the people who made the car. Don't **ck with it.

I think it's a great car and after seven months of ownership I still find myself taking the long way home after work because it's just that much fun to drive. For the most part I'm keeping it stock with just a few small things like wheel badges, custom mats and a screen for the grill etc,but no after market wheels or body stuff planned.

Maybe aftermarket wheels, shift knob, grill, cleared headlights, front lip protector, Lucid Speakers, floor mats, trunk storage bag, and leather center console. Thats about it.

I agree, the music box needs an upgrade even on 02' model. Plus I really want different wheels and lower the car because I like the look of it. And this car is sort of fashion statement, isn't it?:-)) As far as driving itself - stock is more then enough for the roads.

stock form is already good enough....but can the US model have the same exterior appearance like the model from other countries? (clear headlights and side markers instead of amber, without windshield black tape....)

I've almost had the car for 3 years and have kept it stock. Most of the performance add-ons don't really give you much performance for the price, except for forced induction. Honda has pretty much wrung out all the performance you can get from the F20C.
