I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I told them I'd be back on Saturday because I had to leave town for a convention. All I have to do is call and give them the okay though and they will have the car ready and waiting for delivery on Sat.

I could also pull the trigger on 1 of 2 CR's in stock but it goes from Sun to Rain at the drop of a dime down here in South Florida so....

I can probably do better on the price but it was the interest rate that had me thinking. From my understanding there is nobody offering 2.9% for 5yrs at any Honda dealership.

I'll do some more negotiating! Thanks again for all the replies.

Hey SilverR2 post in the South Florida section, there are some guys that work in the dealer that can help you out.

 

Personally I think you should shoot for $28,555. That's invoice ($31,055) minus marketing support (cash to dealer) $2,500. Dealer makes a little bit of money and you get a great deal.

 

there's a dealer here in socal that offered 29500 for an '08 chicane silver (1 of 2 on their lot). I'm pretty sure you could get them to come down a bit more.

 

i dont think its a good deal since theres a thread a few down from yours where a guy got a cr for 29.5k.
