Some people do have this idea that the fluid in the caliper is bad, and they don't like to just push it back in to the lines. They prefer to bleed it out and top off the master cylinder with new fluid.

Personally, I think they are crazy.

+1 for OEM AP1 pads, they're cheap too.

I installed Hawk HPS just before a 1800 mile trip to DBR a week ago. Wheels stayed much cleaner than the stock AP2 pads. No fade at all on the Dragon, no squeel and quiet running. Seems to stop much better. I only had 3000 miles on the originals.

Why, I didn't?

It takes all of 30 minutes, and look at all the time you'll save with wheel cleaning.

I put ceramic pads from autozone on in august. No noise and has cut down on dust tremendously!

is there a place to order the ap1 brake pad? or would just going to the dealer be the same price anywhere
