Default Golf bag in trunk??

I am trying to decide between an S2000 and a Z3 Coupe....one big factor is the room. Can you actually fit a soft golf bag in the trunk of the S2000? I've been told by the S2000 salesman you can but it looks very small.

Thanks

Hi Loyed

Yes it's possible to get even a quite big back into the trunk with some fidling, but only one if the back is really big. But would imagine, that you could easily fit two of the smaller bags into the trunk as well. But I have not tried this though.

I fit two golf bags and two duffels for a week long trip to Myrtle Beach (still had room for some souvenirs) . When I'm unloading in front of the hotel, this guy comes up and does a homer "doh" because he can't fit squat in his Boxster.

Hey it's got two seats, it should carry enough for two people.

I have an S2K coming and had the same question. I took my Sun Mountain carry bag into the dealership to try out the trunk on a MY2000 they had. I am assuming the 02 trunk size has not changed.

My clubs did fit, but it was VERY tight as far as length. With the bag base firmly in the side of the empty trunk, my driver (45")needed to flex to go in. I currently drive a '91 MR-2 and they fit much easier. I am guessing that the solution will be to remove the woods from the bag before trunking...

I often put two carry bags in my trunk. However, I sometimes have to pull long drivers out and put them in separately. Plenty of room.

I have a FULL size Callaway bag that fits fine (it even has shoe pockets on the side). All I do it take out the driver and lay it on top. I actually wish it didn't fit; then I'd have a better excuse for not going to the driving range more often.

Get an S2K over the Z3 ... No questions about that, don't worry about boot space because that isn't gonna be a problem.

One large bag is not a problem but I can't get two LARGE bags in the trunk. It's not the clubs or their length it's the hard plastic bottom on the bag on top. Trunk won't close.

I had the same question. One full size or Two carry bags (decent size!) fit no problem!!!
Go for the S you won't regret it . There is only one problem though, when it's a great day for golf it's a great day for cruising! Solution play golf at least an hours drive away!

that was actually one of two tests the "s" had to pass before i even considered it...i was torn between the "s" and the "tt" roadster...they didn't fit the "tt" but went in the "s" with no problem and i drove the "s" home that day...there is no way they fit in the z3...get "s'n"
